Smart Physio Practice operates as a private practice providing treatment for self-paying patients as well as patients with private health insurance.

If you are looking to claim the cost of your physiotherapy treatment from your insurance company, here is a list of what you need to do:

Check policy treatment coverage;

Check policy excess;

Check the date of the year-end of the policy;

Call your insurance company and explain your condition;

Write down the date, time, and name of the person to whom you spoke;

Obtain an authorisation or a claim number for your treatment; and

The details of each insurance policy differ, so whilst this is general guidance, you will need to check the details for yourself.
